The Story That Shaped My Work
For over a decade, I’ve helped hundreds of women free themselves from anxiety, overthinking, and self-doubt - supporting them through big life changes, burnout, and the lingering question so many intelligent, capable women carry:
“Is this really how life is supposed to feel?”
The Truth Behind the “Successful” Years
Before becoming a coach, I spent a decade in the corporate world - leading teams, working with big brands, collecting promotions, ticking every box that was supposed to mean success.
From the outside, I looked calm and capable.
Inside, I was running on adrenaline.
My mind was constantly three steps ahead - analysing, replaying, and bracing.
I looked confident, but I didn’t feel confident.
I looked composed, but my nervous system was permanently on high alert.
I looked successful, but behind the scenes, I was quietly burning out.
Like so many women, I was doing what I thought I should - chasing the sensible choices, the safe jobs, the approval.
Fear had quietly taken my spark.
I made decisions from anxiety, not alignment.
I lived from overthinking, not trust.
And somewhere along the way, I stopped recognising myself.
Where it really began
None of this started in the boardroom.
I grew up in a home where emotions were loud and fast-moving — arguments that flared and settled in minutes, unpredictable currents that kept everyone on edge.
My sister, later diagnosed as autistic, experienced the world differently, and the emotional atmosphere could shift in an instant.
I didn’t have the language for it then, but that environment taught me how to read the room, anticipate emotion, and keep the peace long before it became my profession.
It also taught my nervous system something else:
that safety meant scanning, soothing, and staying in control.
What I now know is this -
the way we learn to manage emotion as children shapes the relationship we have with our minds as adults.
But it’s not permanent.
With awareness, compassion, and the right tools, those old templates can be rewired.
That’s what this work is all about.
That’s what I help women do every day.
The Breakdown That Didn’t Look Like One
There wasn’t a dramatic rock-bottom moment - just a quiet realisation that I couldn’t keep overriding myself.
The success I’d built was survival, not fulfillment.
The confidence I projected was coping, not calm.
And the noise in my mind wasn’t “who I was” - it was a survival strategy I’d outgrown.
Somewhere between Sunday dread and another “you’re doing so well” review, I knew:
“If I don’t change how I’m living - and thinking -nothing will ever feel different.”
That’s when I stopped trying to fix the symptoms and started studying the source - the human mind.
The beginning of everything I now teach
I went back to what had always fascinated me: how our minds work, why women’s internal worlds are so loud, and what genuinely helps us break free from survival mode - for good.
I trained. I studied. I immersed myself in neuroscience, psychology, hypnotherapy, mind management, and evidence-based emotional wellbeing.
And slowly, everything changed.
My thoughts softened.
My body stopped bracing.
My decisions came from self-trust, not fear.
My confidence rebuilt from the inside out.
My life began to feel like mine again.
Not perfect - just true.
Just steady.
Why I Do This Work
Those personal shifts became the roots of my work - teaching women to understand their minds, shift old patterns, and build the kind of calm, confident self-trust that changes everything.
I believe you deserve…
A relationship with your mind that feels steady, kind, and on your side - a mind you can trust - not fear.
A calm inner world — where your thoughts don’t run the show, and peace isn’t something you have to earn.
Confidence that feels grounded — not the performance of holding it all together, but the quiet knowing that you’re enough.
Ambition that expands you, not exhausts you — success that aligns with who you are, not who you think you should be.
Relationships that feel mutual and nourishing — where you can care deeply without carrying everything.
Decisions made from clarity and self-trust — not anxiety, guilt, or the need for approval.
A life that feels like yours — not one you’re simply managing, but one you actually enjoy living.
And I believe that when a woman feels safe inside her own mind, she becomes powerful in ways she has barely allowed herself to imagine.
That’s why I do this work.
How I Work (🧠 The Mental Freedom Method)
The backbone of everything we’ll do together.
Everything I do is grounded in The Mental Freedom Method — a science-backed, deeply human framework created after years of study and hundreds of hours coaching women with loud minds.
It’s designed to help high-achieving women move from mental chaos and survival mode to calm, clarity, and self-trust:
RECOGNISE what’s actually happening in your mind (and why)
REGULATE your nervous system so you’re not constantly braced
REWIRE the patterns that keep you stuck in self-doubt and overthinking
RECONNECT with what truly matters to you
RISE into calm, confident self-leadership
It’s science-backed.
It’s compassionate.
It’s powerful.
And it’s designed for women whose brains have been in survival mode for far too long.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Working with me is a blend of science and soul: a space where insight meets instinct, strategy meets self-compassion, and you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I’m your coach, guide, sounding board, cheerleader, and steady hand when things feel loud - walking with you every step of the way.
My style is:
Warm, but honest - you’ll feel held, but also gently challenged
Science-backed and soul-aware - I honour both biology and humanity
Non-judgmental - nothing is “too much” or “too messy” to bring
Structured but flexible - we follow a path, but I always meet you where you are
Real - no jargon, no perfection, no pretending
You can expect:
Insight into why your mind does what it does
Tools you can use right away
Clarity that cuts through the mental noise
A space where you don’t have to perform “fine”
A coach who truly understands loud minds - because I’ve lived it too.
Beyond the Coaching Room…
I’m navigating the same full, messy, beautiful life as everyone else - but now I meet it with more steadiness, self-trust, and space than I ever had before.
I live in Bristol with two wonderfully curious kids, a partner who’s usually covered in clay (he’s a potter), and a life that’s full of children, coaching, family, and the everyday juggle - with a half-drunk coffee somewhere that I definitely put down with intention.
Life for me looks like:
Gravel biking - the muddy, phone-signal-gone kind that reminds me what quiet feels like
Walking the dogs - my daily mindfulness, even when I’m not in the mood
Planning our next camping trip - because dreaming about the adventure is half the fun
Building Lego - my guilty pleasure; the kids think it’s for them, but we all know the truth
Deep, meandering conversations with friends - the kind that remind you who you are
Staring into space with a flat white - essential for a brain that once ran at 200mph
Caring for my mum -navigating illness, love, and responsibility in the most human way
Juggling the beautiful chaos - home, work, family, emotions, logistics - all of it, imperfectly and wholeheartedly
I’m equal parts soft-hearted, ambitious, curious, slightly chaotic, and always learning.
That’s what makes this work real.
I'm not here to teach perfection.
I’m here to teach permission - to be human, to be enough, to come home to yourself again and again.
Because when you understand your mind and feel safe inside yourself, you don’t need a perfect life.
You just need an anchored one.
If You’re Reading This Thinking “This Is Me…”
You are exactly who I built this work for.
You don’t need more willpower, productivity, or pressure.
You need a better relationship with your mind.
And it starts with one gentle, honest conversation.
How to Get Started
Working together is simple:
1. Book your free consultation
A relaxed 20-minute call - no pressure, just clarity.
2. Share a few details ahead of time
So I can understand where you are and what you need.
3. We explore the best path forward
You’ll leave the call with direction, insight, and next steps - whether or not we work together.
