Relationship Coaching for Couples.
BRISTOL & ONLINE
Reflective, practical support to help you understand what’s happening between you, break reactive patterns, and feel like a team again.
When you reach a tipping point in your relationship.
Most couples don’t seek support because they’ve stopped caring about each other—they come because the way they’re communicating isn’t working anymore.
Trapped in the same argument: Small disagreements quickly escalate, or one partner pushes to talk while the other shuts down and pulls away.
Feeling more like roommates: You’ve become an efficient team at managing life, work, or children, but the emotional closeness and intimacy have quietly faded.
Walking on eggshells: Communication feels so loaded that it seems safer to stay silent than risk another fight.
Things don't need to be in crisis to get support. You just need a neutral space to slow down and find your way back to each other.
What shifts when we work together.
Real relational change happens in small, everyday moments:
Constructive Communication: Disagreeing without the conversation turning defensive, loud, or shutting down.
Feeling Heard & Valued: Expressing what you actually need while truly understanding where your partner is coming from.
Fast Repair: Catching arguments before they gather momentum and knowing how to reconnect quickly after things go wrong.
Shared Alignment: Navigating major life decisions, parenting, and responsibilities as partners rather than opponents.
Where insight meets practical momentum.
We look beyond the surface topic of your latest argument to understand the deeper dynamics at play. What triggers each of you? What are you trying to protect or ask for in those moments?
But understanding the pattern is only half the work. Between sessions, you’ll have simple, practical strategies to practice—helping you step out of reactive habits and build healthier ways of relating in real-time.
The goal isn't to create a relationship where you never disagree—it's giving you the tools to navigate the difficult moments together with grace and care.
Common reasons couples come to coaching.
having the same arguments again and again
Breaking circular arguments: Stopping the same recurring fights that never seem to get resolved.
Feeling, misunderstood, or like you're taking each other for granted: Moving past defensiveness so you can actually listen to each other.
Shifting out of "roommate" mode: Rebuilding emotional closeness, intimacy, and genuine connection.
Handling conflict safely: Learning how to express frustration without hurting each other or shutting down.
Navigating major transitions: Adapting together through parenthood, career shifts, or life changes.
Learning how to repair: Knowing what to do after an argument to reconnect quickly instead of staying distant.
You don’t need to arrive agreeing on exactly what the problem is.
Part of our work is understanding what is happening between you - together.
A clear shape to our work together.
We begin with an initial container of 8 weekly or fortnightly sessions (60 minutes each) to build momentum and embed new communication habits.

Session 4: We pause to review what’s shifting and adjust our focus.
Session 8: We evaluate progress, consolidate your toolkit, and decide on next steps.
Investment:
£800 when paid upfront in full (£100/session)
£110 per session if paying as you go
Sessions take place in person at my practice in Bedminster, Bristol (BS3) or online.
